Respekt (Respect) weekly comments independently on current domestic and foreign events. It covers politics, economics and history, social topics and trends, monitors scientific and research news, and pays a great deal of attention to culture.  Numerous leading professionals from various fields contribute to its pages.

Formerly a newspaper, Respekt (Respect) underwent a transition into a modern, full-colour magazine in the autumn 2007. As a result, readership, circulation, and subscriptions increased over 60% yearly.  The magazine has maintained this trend to date and in recognition of this accomplishment the Czech Publishers Association awarded it the Magazine of the Year award four times. The magazine is published on Mondays.
